Description Life zones and habitat: Foothills to subalpine; wet areas along streams and seeps, mossy areas.
Plant: Erect or reclining perennial 10 to 18 inches tall, possibly more; weak, hollow stems.
Leaves: Deep green, opposite, oval with toothed edges.
Inflorescence: Two-lipped yellow tubular flower 1 to 1-1/2 inches long; upper lip two-lobed, larger lower lip is 3-lobed with a few to several reddish-brown spots.
