Description Montane and subalpine life zones, wet areas; slender, erect perennial to 16 inches tall; basal round or oval-shaped leaves to 3-1/2 inches long, long stalks, thick, leathery, bright green on top, brownish beneath; nodding pink flowers along a stalk (raceme), 5 round petals.
